We are looking for an Account Manager for Eastern Europe, who is thriving with building long-term relationships with customers, and at the same time, likes to win new orders and secure new sales.

Key task as Territory Account Manager at Amphenol Cabelcon

As Account Manager for Amphenol Cabelcon in Denmark, you will be responsible for our customers in Eastern Europe. You will be responsible for developing and growing both new and existing customers, and you will get great influence on prioritization of activities.

You will be part of the sales team EMEA, and you will report to the Sales Director of EMEA.

Are you an experienced Account Manager, who is analytical? And can work independently with your customer portfolio? Then we have an exciting job opportunity for you with the following key tasks.

Key tasks:

  • Visit new customers on a regular basis, in order to develop new products and solutions
  • Maintain face-to-face customer relationships with key decision makers
  • Follow up on all quotes and samples
  • Compile analysis for each customer outlining products and opportunities available
  • Handle complaints and problems in a timely and effective manner
  • Act as liaison between customers and internal teams

Travel activities:

  • Expect a minimum of 50% travel

Success criteria

  • Achieve strategic and financial targets
  • Success with existing and new customers
  • Ensure development and growth with key customers

How do you become a success in this job?

  • You come from a similar position within sales
  • You have knowledge of Broadband HFC, FttX, and wireless network architectures
  • You have a technical background or a degree, preferably BBa/BSc
  • You have an intensive knowledge of the Eastern European culture – maybe you are native from Poland, Czech Republic, or another Eastern Europe country
  • You have strong IT-skills and is a proficient user of the Microsoft package e.g., calculations in excel and presentations in PowerPoint.
  • You are fluent in English both spoken and in writing
  • You are result-oriented and have a strong commercial understanding
  • You are analytical and can transform analysis to data and actions plans as well as implement them
  • You are structured, proactive, and can keep an overview of your tasks without missing the details
  • You are a team player, outgoing, and have an interest to improve yourself both personally and professionally.

As part of the EMEA sales team, you will get close cooperation and knowledge sharing.
