The program typically lasts 3½ years and consists of a combination of
school-based learning and on-thejob training in a company.
The first half year is a foundational course where the apprentice receive a broad introduction to electrical and electronic systems, mechanics, and automation technology.
After the basic course, the main course follows, alternating between school periods and practical training in a company. During this phase, students further specialize in automation technology and gain hands-on experience.
