Position Available: Seasonal Production Worker for Herring Season in Skagen

Location: Skagen, Denmark

Duration: 4-5 weeks (Temporary Position)

Position Description: We are currently hiring seasonal production workers to support our operations during the herring season in Skagen. As a production worker, you will be responsible for various tasks related to processing and packaging herring catches. Key responsibilities include:

• Processing: Assist in the processing of herring catches, including gutting, filleting, and cleaning fish according to established standards.
• Packaging: Prepare herring products for distribution by packaging them appropriately, labeling packages, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
• Quality Control: Conduct visual inspections of herring products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Identify and remove any defective or damaged products.
• Equipment Operation: Operate production equipment such as filleting machines, packaging machines, and scales safely and efficiently. Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the supervisor.
• Hygiene and Sanitation: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the production area by following sanitation protocols, washing equipment and surfaces regularly, and adhering to food safety guidelines.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the production team to achieve daily production targets and ensure smooth workflow. Communicate effectively and contribute to a positive work environment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in production, food processing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to perform repetitive tasks as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of food safety principles and hygiene practices.
