Hourly wage according to the collective agreement: 176.10 DKK plus a flexible benefits allowance of 12.20% = 197.58 DKK per hour.
After a short accomodation period, the salary will switch to piecework (akkord), where the hourly rate will increase significantly.
Day shift employees accumulate additional hours that can be used for time off. If flexible benefits and accumulated hours are used for time off, employees can potentially have up to around 10 weeks of time off per year. Employees on the evening shift do not accumulate extra hours, but instead have a weekly rotating day off, which means that approximately every fifth weekend they can have both Friday and Monday off. "Safety is the key to success"
For Mariusz, understanding, security, and good communication are essential. The impact and support from JKS-consultants has been important for him.
"They follow up. They guide. And they continuously handle the complicated stuff — papers, regulations, permits, documentation. That sense of security makes it easier for me to focus on my work and set new goals for myself".
- Mariusz Wojciech, polish JKS-worker.
